Description & Availability

Sometimes things like lighting, photography and computer settings means colours may differ slightly from the actual item pictured so please take that into consideration (though we do our best to represent our items as best as possible).

Shiny Things reserves the right to correct any inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

Please be aware that items are not sterling silver or real gold and as a result may show signs of wear and/or tarnish depending on your care and use and personal reaction to metals, woods, acrylics, resins and other products and components we use and Shiny Things does not take into consideration your personal circumstances and cannot predict nor be responsible for any reaction you or others may have to costume jewellery.

Shiny Things items are not designed to be worn in the water so please remove them before being submerged in water like when having a shower or going for a swim.


Make up, perfume and hairspray can contain harsh chemicals that may damage or dull the finish of the jewellery.

Safety Warning: Choking hazard, small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years old. Do not leave children unattended while wearing and remove prior to children sleeping.


Pricing and Payment

All prices advertised on the Shiny Things website/Instagram page/Facebook page are in Australian Dollars. Shiny Things reserves the right to adjust products and prices without notice.

Payment for all orders are made through PayPal and/or Square. Shiny Things will send you a PayPal or Square invoice and once funds are cleared, your items will be promptly posted out to you.


Shipping & Delivery

Currently, Shiny Things only ships to Australian addresses.


All orders will be dispatched within 5 days of receiving your order (however please note custom orders may take longer as they are being made specifically for you and items take time to cure and specific components might need to be sourced to make and complete your order).


Shiny Things will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged parcels whilst in transit with any and all postal/courier delivery services. Shiny Things will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged parcels after delivery. Shiny Things will not be held responsible once any and all parcels have been handed over to any and all postal/courier services.

Refund & Return Policy

Please choose your Shiny Things carefully. Due to hygiene reasons, Shiny Things does not accept refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Refunds and exchanges will only be given if an item is faulty or incorrectly supplied by Shiny Things (online orders only for incorrectly supplied items), just Contact Us within 7 days of delivery. Once we've worked it out, ship items back to us within 14 days of delivery or take to your nearest Shiny Things Stockist. In the case of an item being incorretly supplied for online orders only (not when purchased from a Shiny Things stockist), the item must be unworn, unused and with original packaging when returned. In the case of there being a fault with your earrings within 1 month of purchase, please return all components including packaging to a supplied return address or to your closest stockist for repair. If your order was incorrectly supplied (for online orders only), and the correct item is no longer available, you will have the option to exchange your order with another item of the same value or a full refund.

All postage costs are to be paid by the buyer. The buyer assumes any risk of loss, theft or damaged goods once the itrem(s) have left the care of Shiny Things and placed in the care of any and all postal/courier services as well as during transit and at time of delivery. Shiny Things will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged or stolen parcels during and after delivery.

Once Shiny Things item(s) are in your care, they are fully your responsibility. However, if a breakage does take place within 1 month of your purchase, please contact us and if able to, we would like to see if we can make repairs only, for you. This is not a guarantee that this can happen but where possible, we would like to ensure you can enjoy your Shiny Things products if something does happen in your care.

To return an item, please Contact Us advising what item you are returning and the reason for the return.
